Celadon Pottery in Progress

AMACO Celadon glazes are glossy, transparent, and pool darker on textured and carved surfaces. They are 100% mixable.
The above photo shows some of my previous Celadon vases.
We are diligently working on new pottery that will be glazed with these Celadon glazes.
Engraving and carving are ideal for Celadons as they pool darker; accentuating detail.
This will be one entire kiln load of Celadon glazed pottery.
We are creating the vessels from pure white porcelain, as Celadons are transparent.
If the clay is colored, it will affect the final color.
As of date we've got some planters, balloon bowls, a vase and bowl with plate.
Also, some minis.
Attempting several decorative techniques, and we shall see where our experiments take us with this batch of functional artistry.
