Mosaic Patiently Waiting

This mosaic piece needs tiny mosaic tiles, some glue to adhere them and clippers to cut the mosaic tiles.
Yes! These are tiny earthenware mosaic tiles that can be nipped and clipped, adding a detail that is truly unique.
The process is time consuming, AND time flies by when nipping and clipping tiny tiles.
It is a most enjoyable process, and I CAN forget what time it is while working on tile projects.
The checkered portion was taped and glazed.
Already glaze fired (Cone 6), mosaic tiles will be attached to the blue band near the top of this pot bellied bud vase.
This project will (most likely and hopefully) be complete AFTER our Celadon kiln load enters the bisque kiln. (hopefully)
