Wheel-thrown Turquoise Blue Colored Porcelain Cat at the Window Plate
Measures:
4-3/4" wide x 1/2“ high.

OUTSIDE (UNDERNEATH):
Wheel-thrown Sio-2 Lagoon Turquoise Blue Porcelain Clay.
We did not color this porcelain; it is pre-colored by the manufacturer.

INSIDE:
There are several bands of decoration on this plate.
Starting from the center - I drew this illustration myself, and outlined the drawing with rubber latex in an applicator with a narrow tip. 
The celadon glazes were applied to the surface, and once dried, the rubber latex was peeled off. (Three layers of glaze - each color).
Celadon glazes are transparent and glossy.
No need for a clear glaze on top, as you would with underglazes.

The next band towards the outer rim, is dark red celadon.

RIM:
The rim was taped with a very narrow detailing tape, and glazed between the tape lines to create small checks.

Lead free, dinnerware safe glazes
Fired to cone 6 (2232 degrees Fahrenheit).
I recommend washing this decorative plate by hand.
