Dennis's Handmade Turquoise Blue Porcelain Wheel-thrown Plate with White and Dark Brown Glaze
Measures: 5-15/16" wide x 7/16" high

Wheel-thrown by Dennis using Sio-2 Lagoon Turquoise Blue Porcelain Clay.

OUTSIDE & BOTTOM:
Turquoise blue porcelain clay.
Footring formed on the potter's wheel, and ground smooth using a 
diamond sanding disk.

TOP:
Band closest to the rim is very dark brown,
and melts into the white band of reactive flowing flux glaze.
Center is glossy white with swirl that expands to the narrow amber and dark brown narrow band.
Large center swirl is visible beneath the white glaze.

RIM:
Very dark brown with micro flecks of dark amber.

Glazed with dinnerware safe, lead free glazes
Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.
Kiln fired to cone 6 (2232 degrees Fahrenheit)
Dennis's initials with happy face carved on the bottom.
