This plate was created on the potter's wheel using Sio-2 Lagoon Turquoise Blue Porcelain Clay.

OUTSIDE & BOTTOM:
Turquoise blue porcelain.
Footring formed on the potter's wheel.
3/8" from from rim - glossy and slightly darker than the unglazed footring.

INSIDE:
A riot of iridescent rings of white, amber, pale turquoise blue and pale purple speckles and flecks throughout the entire inside.
Smokey Merlot purple ring 5/8" close to the outside rim.
Center swirls are clearly visible.

RIM:
Glossy turquoise blue.

Wheel thrown and hand glazed by Dennis.
Sio-2 Lagoon Turquoise Blue Porcelain Clay.
Glazed with dinnerware safe, lead free glazes
Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.
Kiln fired to cone 6 (2232 degrees Fahrenheit)
Dennis's initials with happy face carved on the bottom.
