A Handcrafted Blue Turquoise Landscape Decorative Plate

Wheel-thrown Turquoise Blue Colored Porcelain Landscape Plate
Measures:
5-3/8" wide x 1/4“ high.

OUTSIDE (UNDERNEATH):
Wheel-thrown Sio-2 Lagoon Turquoise Blue Porcelain Clay.
We did not color this porcelain; it is pre-colored by the manufacturer.

INSIDE:
There are several bands of decoration on this plate.
Starting from the center - I drew this illustration myself, and outlined the drawing with rubber latex in an applicator with a narrow tip. 
The underglaze colors were applied to the surface, and once dried, the rubber latex was peeled off. (Three layers of underglaze - each color).
A clear, food-safe glaze was applied to the top of the illustration.

The outer band consists of dark red (cordovan) bands, one on the inside, and one on the outside of turquoise blue polka dots., which wrap around the entire plate. 
The polka dot area is concave, with the edges slightly raised on either side of the polka dot band.

RIM:
The rim is glossy cordovan. (very dark red-brown).

Lead free, dinnerware safe glazes
Fired to cone 6 (2232 degrees Fahrenheit).
I recommend washing this decorative plate by hand.
