Dennis's Small Wheel-thrown Purple Smokey Merlot Colored Porcelain Bud Vase Measures 2-1/2" wide x 2-5/8“ high. Holds approximately 2 ounces of liquid, or 1/3 cup. Hole on top is 1-7/8“ wide.
OUTSIDE: Lavender colored porcelain is left unglazed on the bottom. Top 3/4 of this bud vase is glossy Smokey Merlot purple with drips and flecks of light blue, dark blue and purple. A 1/2” band of Smokey Merlot directly above the unglazed lavender colored porcelain.
INSIDE: Very drippy, glossy, pale purple and light blue, melting all the way down to the inside bottom. The swirl on the very bottom is mostly covered with melted glaze, exposing just a hint of the bottom swirl.
RIM: Glossy Smokey MerlotDinnerware safe glazes. Clean by hand or dishwasher. Standard 365 Colored Porcelain Clay. Fired to cone 6 (2232 degrees Fahrenheit).

How it’s Made
Dennis's handmade bud vase was created using our own colored porcelain clay on the potter’s wheel. Layering several colors allows the glazes to drip as they melt in the kiln.
